Models and templates

Category management is a complex process that combines knowledge about customer behavior, diverse data sources, and numerous inputs that are increasingly difficult to control in the digital age.

Experience shows that many companies struggle to organize this demanding process. The path to success resembles a journey through a dark forest.

With the models and templates I have developed while working with clients, the path is divided into clear phases – this way, we never stray from the path.

1-pager or how to develop growth strategy in 2 hours!

The 1-pager was created out of the need for a shortened and transparent process for developing a product group growth strategy.

Would you believe that workshop participants can prepare a growth strategy in just two hours?

The model is designed to include all key growth factors. It encourages structured thinking and creative solution development.

The 1-pager can be used as a standalone method for accelerated strategy development or as part of a comprehensive step-by-step process.

Contact me for a free brochure with examples of how to use the 1-pager, as well as workshops that help BS managers develop strategies quickly.

Single page with numerous positive effects

1-pager: a free brochure with basic instructions for use, an electronic version, and a 3-hour workshop to help bring the 1-pager to life are available!

Category Management Wheel

We monitor the management of product groups with key phases as a cycle with a feedback loop.

During visits, we focus on observing the cycle and its elements. Where critical bottlenecks occur, we identify them and begin to eliminate them in workshops.

Establishing circulation, supported by growth strategies, generates fresh value for the customer.

Templates guide the process from A to Z

Omnibus CM workshops offer a complete set of templates and tasks that guide participants through the process from start to finish.

The strategies are linked to key measurable (and immeasurable) targets, focused on growth, and backed up by action plans—specific implementation timelines.

Working with templates guides category managers through individual phases, encouraging them to solve problems creatively, while constantly directing them towards implementation at the point of sale = images of success in stores.

Moment of Truth

The purchasing decision model helps connect the strategy with the customer.

We call the implemented strategy a “living strategy,” which is something completely different from a “drawer strategy”—a strategy that is stuck in a drawer.

Most workshops therefore begin directly in the store, where the customer encounters the strategy in all its strengths and weaknesses.

All of the above templates and models are an integral part of Omnibus workshops. Even a one-day workshop gives participants full access to the content we work with in our workshops.
